HOWRAH has every right to call themselves a supergroup. With ex-members of the late Space Siren, frontman and mastermind Cees van Appeldoorn has pure gold in hands. On their debut album *Self_Serving Strategies*, the band doubled down on the contrarian sound of noise rock bands from our last century. On their latest release *Bliss* the band managed to be more composed and melancholy, while sunbeams of pure hope reassuringly try to break through the cracks of their songs. Recommend for fans of Sonic Youth, Blonde Redhead and Swirlies.
