​After curating the acclaimed exhibition Fake Me Hard in 2021, curator Ine Gevers returns to Brutus with AUTONOMOUS.

​In a society where the human brain is reduced to an optimally performing resource, AUTONOMOUS reclaims the unruly mind at the core of our humanity.

​AUTONOMOUS is neurospicy and psychedelic, pushing back against the AI-generated monoculture of the mind. Through large-scale installations, immersive videos and interactive experiences by 32 artists, Ine Gevers stages a takeover of our computer-controlled, capitalist society.
