Evening of the V2_Archive

The V2_ archive combines documentation of 40 years of electronic art, a large part of which is freely available on the website, with photos of performances and installations, videos, scans of posters, programme booklets and texts.
The Evening of the V2_Archive takes V2_'s archive as a starting point to explore how an archive can contribute to a critical attitude towards current and future technological and cultural developments.
Together with guest speakers Lena van Tijen, Katažyna Jankovska, Alexandra Barancova (for NADD), V2_'s archivist Arie Altena will present the development of electronic art and experiments at the intersection of art, technology and society over the past 40 years and discuss how young artists and researchers see this history.
The event is organised in collaboration with NADD and is part of a larger programme researching the history of V2_ to celebrate its 40-year existence.
This will be an online event.
